GoDaddy Academy is an exciting initiative by GoDaddy, the powerhouse behind the world’s largest cloud platform for small, independent ventures. With an impressive customer base of 19 million worldwide and over 78 million domain names managed, GoDaddy has established itself as a leading provider in the industry.
The launch of GoDaddy Academy brings a wealth of opportunities for individuals seeking to enhance their career prospects and for entrepreneurs looking to expand their skill sets. By providing access to well-curated technology and business programs, GoDaddy Academy empowers learners to acquire valuable knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.
Defining the Problem
In redesigning the user interface for the existing website of GoDaddy Academy,
I encountered several challenges that needed to be addressed. Firstly, the website had an outdated appearance, which did not align with the modern and professional image that GoDaddy Academy wanted to project. This called for a fresh and contemporary design approach to give the site a more polished and visually appealing look.
Another challenge was building trust with users. To overcome this, I focused on incorporating trust signals throughout the website. This included prominently displaying customer testimonials, showcasing success stories, and highlighting industry affiliations and certifications. By leveraging these trust-building elements, users would feel confident in the credibility and reliability of GoDaddy Academy’s online learning solutions.
Persona Creation
One area that I identified as being underutilized was the brand ambassador, Dhoni. As a popular figure in the cricketing world, Dhoni’s association with GoDaddy Academy had immense potential. To maximize this opportunity, I recommended featuring Dhoni more prominently on the website. This involved strategically placing his images and testimonials in key sections, showcasing his expertise and endorsement of the platform. By leveraging Dhoni’s influence, we aimed to enhance the brand’s reputation and appeal to cricket enthusiasts and aspiring entrepreneurs alike.
